I like that it's a steel cable and will add life to the hinges and overall longevity of the cooler. I put them on my Igloo Overland 25, 50 and 72 qt. coolers. It's a nice little upgrade item if your cooler doesn't have one. It doesn't come with hardware to mount it but a quick trip to the local hardware store can remedy that for a few bucks. I used sheet metal screws with 2 mylar washers on the outside of each of the eyelets with a rubber washer on the backside to help seal up the mounting hole. Solid mount with smooth opening and closing, great item.
