The light works and functions correctly, however, the opening to insert the batteries is too small. Once you press 2 AA batteries you can’t take them out. I actually had to use a Dremel tool and sand the battery opening a little. Also something to keep in mind, once mounted inside a cooler lid, you would have to tip the entire cooler to the side to remove the batteries, this is difficult on larger coolers. Lastly, the light is not super bright. It’s enough but could be much brighter.
