The function of the Oil Cooler Header it caps off the end of the factory oil cooler and attaches to the engine block at the front of the block. It seals the engine oil and engine coolant from each other using the factory O-rings and the factory mounting gasket.

The factory International Oil Cooler Header is prone to leaking and cracking this could be a combination of a cast piece being subjected to continual vibration/harmonics and the quality of the casting itself.
