I have used this for 1 hot day and 2 stormy and cold rides. They do keep your arms colder and also protect you from sun burns (Puerto Rico all year long summer) and they do protect on rides at 70 - 75 degrees with the wind factor, could be lower but, again, Puerto Rico is not as cold as state side. The fabric is true black and when on the arm does not show skin in the light, but its very thin and does not have the plastic strip that could hold your Sleeves but only when on rainy days is proved to be necessary, also, in the picture there is a small logo on the wrist part, that must be a water mark because mine does not came with that. This sleeves are light as air and you can use it on wet/cold/hot rides, you won't notice you're wearing. Also, they don't look cheap.... I will gladly buy a pair down the road. I am a medium large (5'11" 230lbs) rider with a bit above average wide arms and it does fit very well.***No five stars do to the thinner material compared to other brands at the same price level, no plastic band to hold the upper sleeve part, on adverse weather this proved to be a must, the logo in the picture is not really in the sleeves and have to burn some lose threats that were dangling from the seams.Bought these for my 70 yr old husband who has very thin skin on his arms an gets skin tears easily. He really likes these because he's a t-shirt man and with these sleeves his arms are protected at all times from scrapes and sunshine while still remaining cool.I'm a 5'11" male with moderately long arms. These are a moderately good fit, but they are on the short side, and the wrist area needs to be tighter. I'm going to try and stretch mine - to elongate them. In the picture they look shaped, but in reality they are more of a slightly tapered tube. The last 3" of the sleeves (wrist area) are for me a loose fit. The upper portion is fine, although they are certainly not a true compression garment. Compression has become a buzzword that gets applied to anything made of Lycra - anything that stretches, and these arm covers are no exception. For cycling, I'm finding that these are not good in cooler weather, as they feel as warm as true arm warmers on the climbs, but cool on the downhills. I think these will be best for summer ridesBy far one of the best arm sleeves I have owned. I buy them to cover tattoos at work and unlike most sleeves I have tried previously, these fit my entire arm perfect. They are pleasantly breathable and even the tan version do not show my tattoo work through the material. The tan is nearly skin color so I wear the tan most often and it doesn't look silly when playing the tattoo cover up game for my job. I also would like to rate them highly on durability. I do a lot of firearms training and shoot a lot of rifle from the ground. I have yet to rip or destroy a brand new sleeve easily. The ones I end up destroying are ones I have worn for a few months and retire them out of good use. The tan ones, over time do start to become dingy from dirt and grime of firearms (in my case) but for under 10$/pack its nothing to have a resupply ordered to the house again.I bought these for my mom that loves gardening. We live in an area that is very sunny & HOT during the summer. Mom is allergic to the sun, breaking out in painful blisters when exposed for more than a few minutes. So, most hot summer days she'll be gardening in long sleeve shirts, long pants, and a wide-brimmed hat while dripping in sweat. Another problem was the sun on her arms while driving.I found these and thought I'd let her give them a try. She hadn't seen anything like them before and was willing to try them, but was doubtful that they'd provide the protection she would need. (She has worn lightweight shirts before that didn't keep her from having a bad sun reaction.) Well, I'm thrilled to say that she has had nothing but success with them! I've since bought her several pairs and she keeps them in her car, with her gardening supplies, and a few pairs in different colors in her dresser.Mom loves them and has commented several times that she is so grateful that I introduced them to her. These sleeves are top quality for the price point. They are extremely breathable and comfortable to wear once they are broken in. The durability is also superb, they will hold up to much abuse. I've been using these at work to protect my arm from sun exposure and scratches for my new full sleeve tattoo, and I will continue to use them to protect my tattoos from sun exposure. I would highly recommend these over any other products for protecting your arm, whether it be for tattoos or just to protect against sun burn, bug bites, etc. The only con I can come up with, is that one of the sleeves threading on the wrist portion pulled out comepletely. This is not something that I even have a complaint about though, because it hasnt affected the fit or functionality of the sleeve whatsoever, and im sure this is an uncommon issue.Overall; great sleeves with excellent color selection, great price point, awesome durability, and superb comfort and breathability. I will continue to buy this product, and would recommend it to anybody!I bougjt these conpression sleeves because they were cheap. I went into the purchase thinking that if they werent all that great id only be loosing ten bucks but i was actually suprised by the quality. They seem tk be really well made and for 10 bucks i see no need tk buy any of the other more expensive brands. Like im curious is to how the manufacturer even makes money off these. There a little tight but that is my only complaint so far. Im really impressed with these and will be buyong these again in the future when they start to wear downI ordered these because I work outside on sand filter beds a lot and it gets very hot. They work great! Mine did start to fray really bad after the second day but I reached out to the company, and in a day or two they shipped me another one! Good customer serviceI love these! I got them for part of a costume but I can say that my arms actually felt cooler in temperature less than a minute after putting them on! They also stretch to the top of my arm.The picture with the sleeves laid out reflect their true colour. The picture with the sleeve on my arm shows how much it stretched (but it could actually stretch a little more if you needed it to). The picture with it on my arm turned out a little yellow-hued due to the angle and lighting, so refer to the other picture for actual colour.I got these because I have a job where I work in the sun for extended periods if time and I didn't have to constantly wear sun screen. They seem comfortable and do have a cooling feel to them. they do roll down off my biceps. Which isn't a problem for me but might be a problem for other people because I mainly just got them to cover what my t shirt doesn't.First the positives, these stay up well on the arms and really are very breathable so they're comfortable to wear in hot temps (30C/90F).Unfortunately they began coming apart at the seam on the wrist during the first washing. By the second washing they started to completely unravel. This is poor quality workmanship. I am very disappointed as they are not cheap for what they are. I do not recommend buying this product. These are very comfortable and a great alternative to wearing long sleeve shirts. The beige is very close to skin colour, so for those who need to protect their arms from the sun (such as Lupus patients), these are perfect. The colour makes them almost invisible on my arms.Awesome... I'm buying another pair soon that's for sure ?. Stays on my arm nice. I really do like them better then the other pair I got off Amazon . Elixir scorpions are garbage in my view. Stick with this one. I use them for fishing and I forget that I have them on.. so it's perfect in my opinion.
