Installed on Ram 1500 with 5.7l hemi. Had almost to impact on towing oil temp, maybe a couple of degrees but that's it. Also impossible to keep the sandwich adapter from losening up and leaking. Called Derale tech support a couple of times and they said, hmmm, it shouldn't do that. Offered no suggestions or solutions. If you're installing this a V8 engine you need a bigger cooler. If you want to keep the oil in the truck and not on the driveway, I wish you better luck than I've had, I try a better brand backed by a company that has some slight interest in seeing their products work.
